"It is party time again." says little Luke as he sports his clever blue mask and red shirt to impress his little superhero friends. "We are going to have a great time tonight. We will all dress up as superheroes. First we need to decide which superhero everyone wants to be. "Billy, who is the superhero that you would like to be?" asks Luke. Billy said, "I think I would like to be Spidergirl." "I'm sorry Billy," replied Luke, "you are a boy so you can't be Supergirl." "Oh," Billy responds, "then I will be Batman." "Okay," says Luke, "you are Batman."
"Now who would you like to be Lucy? Do you have a choice?" asked Luke. "Luke," replies Lucy, "I am a girl so I would like to be Wonder Woman. She is big and strong and beautiful." "Great!" Luke says. "It's your turn to choose a super hero Jack." Jack chooses to be Superman, then Janie chooses to be Supergirl, and Larry chooses to be Batman's sidekick, Robin."
"The rest of you," advised Luke, "can be whatever superhero you want to be. Everyone put on the mask and cape of your choice and let's go have a fun party."
All of the children dressed up in their proper masks and capes and began to play and save each other from vicious villains. Then immediately Batman saved his imaginary friend John and exclaimed, "Great day of saving people!" Robin followed right behind him by saving John's little sister Cindy by approaching an arch enemy and declaring, "Bop, bop, kplunk and bang." This safely ended the enemy's threat.
Everyone had a great time pretending to be superheroes. After the play and games they all ate ice cream and cake and filled their little bellies until they almost popped.
